Lockton are the proud Insurance partner of The Sole Practitioners Group (SPG) and we are committed to providing support to Sole Practitioners across England and Wales.

Whilst we have been given some hope that life will be subject to fewer restrictions as the year progresses, I feel the virtual world that we have adopted will form a part of our working lives moving forward.  A key struggle faced by Sole Practitioners is the inability to speak regularly with colleagues and one focus of the SPG is to provide a platform for its members to interact. 

The SOLO Journal is a bi-annual publication produced by the SPG and serves to share information and updates within the profession, views from the Executive Committee and links to third parties who can assist in the day-to-day running of a solicitors' practice.

In the most recent version, which can be accessed via the link below, there is a feature on Lubna Shuja, SPG Council Member and Deputy Vice-President of the Law Society, along with an adapted version of Amy Bell's 'The Compliance Year Ahead' article including some advice for upcoming PII renewals.
