Following a consultation with solicitors and stakeholders, including Lockton, the SRA has issued a set of resources alongside a report to help improve employee wellbeing. The move comes after Lockton representatives consulted with the SRA over mental health in the workplace and other areas of employee wellbeing.
While some progress has been made in improving employee wellbeing in the solicitors industry, many are still impacted heavily by long work hours, general stress and pressure to meet targets, and more.
The SRA resources are designed to set out guidance of what is expected of law firms in promoting a healthy work life balance, and to protect employees from hostile work environments.
